Located within the raw and windswept landscape of Tinos, this boutique hospitality project was conceived as a contemporary interpretation of Cycladic living—where simplicity, materiality, and atmosphere define the architectural experience.

The design combines clean geometric forms with soft handcrafted textures, creating interiors that feel both refined and deeply connected to the island’s character. Natural plaster finishes, warm timber tones, stone elements, and muted earthy palettes establish a calm and tactile environment throughout the suites and shared spaces.

A central design intention was to blur the boundaries between architecture, light, and landscape. Carefully framed openings, filtered daylight, and subtle spatial transitions create a sequence of quiet, immersive experiences that emphasize relaxation and privacy. Arched openings, custom partitions, and integrated furnishings reinterpret traditional Cycladic motifs through a contemporary architectural language.

The suites were designed with an emphasis on openness and fluidity, allowing functional elements such as bathrooms, sleeping areas, and living spaces to coexist seamlessly within a unified architectural composition. Custom-designed furniture and built-in elements reinforce the minimal aesthetic while maximizing spatial efficiency and visual continuity.

Externally, the hotel follows the natural contours of the terrain, with independent volumes arranged to preserve views, privacy, and the existing landscape. Stone retaining walls, planted terraces, and water elements are integrated into the composition to strengthen the relationship between the built environment and the rugged terrain of Tinos.

Our architectural approach focused on creating a hospitality experience rooted in atmosphere and authenticity rather than excess. Every material, proportion, and detail was carefully considered to produce spaces that feel timeless, understated, and connected to the identity of the island.

The project reflects a contemporary Cycladic aesthetic where architecture becomes quiet, tactile, and experiential—offering visitors a serene retreat shaped by light, texture, and the natural beauty of Tinos.
